STUDENT INNOVATION

Quickly use customer empathy to ensure your mobility and energy concepts are focused and successful.

1 STORY OF 99P SUCCESS

The Problem

“How can you establish trust in a micro-community?” That problem statement was posed to a group of students at The Ohio State University. After first defining what a micro-community was, where they existed, and what “trust” means to its residents, the students set out to get a first-hand perspective from those customers, using direct interviews, surveys, and observations.

Their Solution

After several pivots in their problem-solving process, students used 99P’s customer-empathy process and available data to create a community-based amenity, providing electric mobility through a micro-rental service, thus transforming mobility for those most in need.
